Research Experience & Active Learning (REAL) in Science is a Howard Hughes Medical Institute funded project designed to immerse NCSU biology students in an authentic, engaging, transformative science experience during the early stages of their collegiate careers. This funding has allowed for the development of several programs, including RISE, Research PackTrack, SCALE-UP Biology, and Citizen Science Outreach.
